Peach Study

A Peach Farmer’s Association in Yangshan, Wuxi, China tested three fertilizer treatments on peaches. Each treatment was replicated three times, with an average of 50 trees per replica. Brix values were taken from 10 peaches harvested at random from each treatment group.

Benefits at a glance:

  • Increased yield of peaches by 28%.
  • Brix number was significantly higher, with seemingly smoother pulp and stronger flavor.
  • Earlier budding.
  • Increased chrolorphyll content of leaves for improved photosynthetic efficiency.
