Acorn, Oaks, and Sycamore Trees Respond to AZOMITE®, OR
Apples, Apples, Apples, TX
In January of 2007, my wife and I bought a home in Kaufman County, Texas. The home had been vacant for some time, and the trees and grounds had been neglected. One of the features of the property was an apple tree which appeared to be about 20 years old. During the spring and summer of 2007, the tree bore a few apples, but not many.
In the spring of 2008, I took up again my avocation of organic gardener at our new home. As an organic gardener, I was well aware of the need for making sure that the soil had all the nutrients necessary for successful growth. The organic grower puts his faith in the long term health of the soil; plants have no other basis for their health and productivity.
After I determined that the soil lacked sufficient minerals, I began researching existing products to build the mineral content of the soil. I eventually settled on AZOMITE® as the best product to build the overall health of the soil. However, I was not prepared for the immediate results I achieved.
During January of 2008, I applied approximately twenty pounds of AZOMITE® to the old apple tree. Working around the drip line of the outlying branches, I first spread the AZOMITE®, broadcasting it by hand. Then I aerated the soil with a Garden Weasel, so that when it rained the AZOMITE® could be more easily absorbed by the tree.
The reward was hundreds of apples! We gave away bushels of apples, made applesauce, and froze many bags of pie apples. We had so many apples that we could not possibly use them all or give them away. Needless to say, I have applied AZOMITE® again this year and look forward to the same result.

Bermuda Grass to St. Augustine grass with AZOMITE®, TX
To: AZOMITE® Mineral Products, Inc.
In April of 2006, my wife and I decided to change over our yard from Bermuda to St. Augustine. We have 2 mature pecan trees in the landscape and numerous hackberry and crepe myrtle trees. I had applied AZOMITE® to the ground before planting and again a few days later on the top. Shortly, after re-sodding the yard the city declared a water rationing program of one day per week in the evening/early morning only.
My first thought was that the St. Augustine would be gone shortly, and the beds of other plants would soon follow. To my surprise, not only did the lawn respond well to the stress conditions of the heat (Texas) and lack of water, but mowing the lawn was still required at least once a week and many times 2 times. The bedding plants seemed to respond well to AZOMITE®, in particular, the English ivy and Japanese maples. Many of my neighbors lost some of their landscapes or had stress related issues with their yards.
Above are some pictures of the back yard one year later, April 2007. Not only has the mature planting survived, but it has turned out quite well.
Thanks for the products.

Berries, Fruits, and Produce at Maple Rock Farm, WA
Dear AZOMITE®,

Subject: AZOMITE® Testimonial
Here at Maple Rock Farm on Orcas Island in Washington State, we grow a wide variety of specialty organic produce, fruit and berries. We’ve been in business for six years and operate as a Community Supported Agriculture farm and we are suppliers to the best restaurants on the Island. We also do a vibrant business at our local farmers’ market. I began using AZOMITE® this year for the first time. I can honestly say that our plant health and yield quality is the best I’ve seen since we began growing and I can only attribute this to the use of AZOMITE®.
Another interesting point is that our fertilizer costs have gone down even though we are always expanding our production. I use an Earthway seeder to do most of our direct sowing. This year I purchased a side dresser fertilizer hopper that neatly fits onto the seeder. I simply fill the hopper with a mix of AZOMITE® and my other pelletized organic fertilizer and apply as I direct sow. This has worked really well. Since we are applying fertilizer directly in the root zone, our consumption has been greatly reduced thus saving us hundreds of dollars on fertilizer costs.
I can definitely see a difference in the beds that have had AZOMITE® applied them VS the ones that have been sown without. I will continue to use AZOMITE® and feel good that I am adding trace elements back to the soil that nourishes me both physically and financially,

Citrus trees love AZOMITE®, HI
November 14, 2006
Aloha Dr. Lee Klinger,
It’s been a year since you consulted with me about my orchard in south Kona. If you remember, I was having problems with mites and chlorosis especially with my citrus trees.
I took your advice and applied AZOMITE® about 10 months ago. Surprisingly I never had to spray for mites and the new growth is dark green and full. The application of minerals was beneficial and I’m glad you brought up the fact that it was a fertilizing blind spot of mine.
Big mahalos again and my trees thank you also.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Uttley

Citrus (oranges) Yield and Profit Boost from AZOMITE®, CA
Kyran Rice has been successfully growing Valencia and Fisher Navel oranges in the Exeter area of California for over 10 years. The trees average 45 years in age. He is also a Certified Crop Advisor with Natural Resources Group (NRG) in Woodlake, CA.
In his role with NRG, Kyran advises growers throughout the region of Madera to Bakersfield on optimal fertility programs for soil fertility, health, and profitable crop production. By applying the same practices to his own groves, he has been able to profitably increase yields and fruit quality.
Kyran uses a soil fertility program on his orchard of two tons of compost per acre (2 ton/ac) annually spread between the
tree rows. For the last two years he has had AZOMITE® added to the finished compost prior to delivery, at the rate of 150 lbs./ton (for a total of 300 lbs./ac of AZOMITE® applied to the soil). AZOMITE® is a natural, organic, OMRI listed and CDFA certified volcanic ash nutrient source. Along with Azomite, he also adds 1,000 lbs. of gypsum per acre and 200 lbs. of potash per acre per year.
Kyran adds 5 lbs./ac of AZOMITE® to every spray that goes on the trees, pre and post bloom, so he is foliar feeding the nutrients. AZOMITE® is labeled for potassium, calcium, and magnesium, so these important minerals help to boost tree performance. Soil sampling and tissue sampling help determine tree nutrient status.
The ranch consistently produces good crops and quality fruit, but in 2018 Kyran had the highest profit ever on the orchard mostly because of yield and fruit quality as well as prices. Kyran has been getting an outstanding return on investment! Now, in 2019, he again has an excellent set and fruit load and is hoping for another record-breaking year. To have the trees do this two years in a row is a testament to the good nutritional program Kyran has developed and is using.

Evergreens growing well!
Dear AZOMITE® Mineral Products,
We have seven evergreens that are 15 to 20 feet tall. Last year, the Bark Beetles had a field day with our trees.
In March, three different tree companies told us that two of the trees would not make it through the summer and the others would not make it through the following summer. Someone mentioned AZOMITE® but they didn’t have details about the product. We went on your website and downloaded the information. AZOMITE® sounded too good to be true. We decided to take a chance. We dissolved AZOMITE® granules in water and applied the solution twice a month for three months and then once a month. We deep watered twice a week for the first three months and then once a week.
In November, a landscaper stopped by to give us an estimate for our front yard. He looked at the evergreens and said, “I don’t know what you are doing to these trees but keep it up. They are the best looking evergreens that I have seen in this area.” We will continue to use AZOMITE® for our trees and shrubs.
You can’t beat it.
Sincerely,
Max and Darlene Miller
Fruits & Veggies with AZOMITE® at Hidden Honey Farms, TX
Mar 25, 2014
Dear Mike,
We grow everything organic – fruit trees to vegetables and just started using AZOMITE® on our farm last fall, with great results.
We planted a couple of rows of beans without amendments, then came back a month later and planted a few more rows of beans using AZOMITE® only. The AZOMITE® beans not only caught up, they surpassed the other rows. The germination was outstanding. They were overall more healthy and beautiful plants.
We planted apple trees in the spring, and I have to admit they are the stepchildren of the farm. They don’t always get the water or the fertilizer they should be getting. Feeling sorry for the trees, I watered them and put some AZOMITE® around the drip line. A week later, the crispy August leaves were gone and replaced with new leaves were on the tree…and to my surprise there were apple blossoms! And we even got a tiny apple. It just goes to show how much the plants respond to AZOMITE®.
After seeing these remarkable results, we will not plant ANYTHING without using AZOMITE®.
We have chickens too, and a couple are egg eaters; meaning after the eggs are laid they go back and eat the eggs that have been laid that day. This is very frustrating, reduces egg production, and leaves the rest of the eggs messy and covered with yolk. We put AZOMITE® in the chickens feed and have not seen any egg eating since. AZOMITE® has cured the mineral deficiency in our chickens. What more can I say? We love AZOMITE® and it’s become a staple on the farm.
Using AZOMITE® has made our farm more productive and our jobs easier – by not having to guess which minerals our soil, or chickens are deficient in.

Lemon trees thrive with AZOMITE®, International
June 10, 2005
I just checked in on the lemon and grape test gardens where they tested AZOMITE®. The lemon garden had a problem with disease and poor productivity. After using AZOMITE®, the lemon trees are doing well, with only 300 g/tree. They used AZOMITE® every 3 months, or 1.2 kg/tree/year. The leaves are darker and now the trees are very healthy looking. The productivity has increased by 30-40 %.
Best Regards,

Pecans improve with AZOMITE®, AL
March 31, 2016
Dr. Fodge,
In previous years, when our pecans were shelled, many had black spots on the meat. These spots ranged in size from 1/8 of an inch up to more than half the meat, creating a great deal of waste at harvest. Four years ago, I began applying AZOMITE® to the drip line of each tree. Gradually, the black spots have been reduced to the point that by 2015, no black spots were noted.
Another plus, our pecans were meatier and completely filled the hull. In the past we have seen some meat shrinkage at the tip of the hull. Not anymore. Production has increased from the last year before AZOMITE® at just 50 lbs per tree to a yearly average of 100 lbs and more per tree.
Sincerely,
Max Rider

Subject: RE: AZOMITE®
Dear Kim,
I first read about AZOMITE® while browsing the Organic Supply Catalog. Due to a very late start gardening here in the Northeast this year due to excessive rain and no sun (in May it rained 24 of the 31 days), I decided to give it a try.
I planted my garden from mostly plants the first week of June. I sprinkled the AZOMITE® around my leggy sunflowers (then about 6” tall) and around my winter squash, melons, and cucumbers. The squash, melons, and cucumbers were getting very yellowy leaves. This is a community garden that I did not lime nor know what was planted last year. Within 10 days, my sunflowers were 2 feet tall, and all the yellowing on the other plants disappeared. This means the plants were able to utilize the nutrients in the soil.
The sunflowers continued to shoot to the sky and now (July 23) are about 6 to 7 feet tall and the yellowing on the other plants has not returned. The Haricot Verts I planted with AZOMITE® and side-dressed 2 weeks later are bearing beans for over a week now while my bush bean that were only side-dressed are just starting to flower. Although my neighbors are having problems with cuke beetles, my cucumber plants are healthy and bearing cukes. My beets also got some AZOMITE® and are doing as well as my neighbor who plants his a good 3 weeks before me. I feel good about using a product that is organic and soil-nurturing, and I don’t have to be concerned about my granddaughter touching the plants.
I know that I am enriching the soil and helping the earthworms and nature to revitalize my garden. I wholly recommend this product to anyone who wants to grow either flowers or vegetables and have a bountiful crop. I’m so glad I read about and used AZOMITE®!

Vegetable Heirlooms at Sunnyfarm, WI
Dear AZOMITE,
Here at Sunnyfarm we grow organic heirlooms – garlic, tomatoes, potatoes and more. After reading bits of information about mineral depletions in soil, I decided to try a small (5 pound) package of AZOMITE® in part of the garlic patch. At harvest time I saw a definite difference. With AZOMITE® the bulbs were noticeably larger – perhaps a third or more.
We will use the AZOMITE® on all crops this year and hope to see the same great results. Thanks!
Sincerely,
Linda Cockburn
