Improved nutrition and stronger plants

"The soil on both tomato test beds are similar in that we brought the nutritional level up to a 65% base saturation of Calcium, 15% Magnesium, 6% Potassium, and matched the minor nutrients as closely as we could – growing in a 6.4 pH. The difference is clear in the addition of AZOMITE® to the bed on the left. All plants were planted at the same time and receive water through an automatic drip system."

With busy schedules and a bustling family life, the folks at @organicheirlooms have found a peaceful solution in night gardening. Here, they’re amending last year’s old soil pots to repurpose for new tomato transplants. To support optimum microbial growth, their hose is connected to a dechlorination filter to keep chlorine from harming the beneficial microorganisms in their soil and compost piles. They use about 20 pots on their property to complement their garden boxes and find that pot-grown tomatoes work out just fine. 🍅🍅 #soilhealth #organicgardening #gardenpots #urbangardening #nightgardening #humicacid #urbangardener #fertilizer #pottingmix #azomite @downtoearthfertilizers #backyardgardening #milpitas #bayarea #growtomatoes #plantingseason
Good Morning Utah! Our friends at @gobiochar have joined forces with @the.villagecooperative’s Food For Families program in a wonderful initiative to help at-risk communities in the Salt Lake valley through growing local food, sustainability & connection. 🌱 “We amended their hub location soils with a blend of premium GoBiochar biochar, AZOMITE Minerals (we like their micronized), IFA humate, and a new locally produced aquaponic organic concentrate biotic formula called MicroRevive. This was all incorporated into their soils with a healthy dose of fresh compost.” Please consider volunteering with the cooperative. Give them a follow or reach out to @darin_mann777 and be on the lookout for their 🌟BUILD THE VILLAGE event 🌟 happening on April 5th at @kiitosbrewing. Contact John @gobiochar with any questions about adding biochar to your grow operations at scale or home. It’s an honor to be in their mix. #biochar #waterwisegardening #saltlakecityevents #utahgardening #azomite #soilcarbon #foodsecurity #communitygarden #sustainablegardening #saltlakecity #foodsovereignty

Sometimes we hear things that make us blush: “In 4 years, this is the FIRST time my sweetheart lychee has flowered. And it’s loaded.”

Luis from @heirloomsoils shares our passion for soil health. He is also masterful at explaining the supporting role trace minerals play — and we thank him. “Don’t let nutrient-depleted soil hold your plants back! AZOMITE trace minerals replenish essential micronutrients plants need in small amounts but are crucial for strong growth. Unlike macronutrients (NPK: nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium), which fuel plant growth, micronutrients help with enzyme function, disease resistance, and nutrient absorption. Pair with Heirloom Soils for the perfect foundation for strong roots, vibrant growth, and nutrient-dense harvests. A must for gardeners, farmers, and landscapers!” #organicfarming #micronutrients #houston #plantnutrients #nutrientdensity #soilhealth #azomite
