Broadcast Fertilization

Broadcasting fertilizer is a common method for agricultural crops, turf grass and gardens. Granulated AZOMITE® works well with this application method because the easy-to-handle granules have only a moderate amount of dust. They are bonded with a lignin sulfonate, and once applied, the AZOMITE® granules will break down over a week or two with irrigation. Rate recommendations vary depending on the crop, but in general, 150-300 pounds per acre. AZOMITE® is recommended as an additive to a regular fertilizer program. AZOMITE® can be applied on its own, or blended with other dry fertilizer mixes.
